I am the current Representative for the School of Computer Science to the Carleton University Students' Association.
I have sat on Student Council since May 2010. I am also a member of two Committees: Constitution and Policy Committee, and Financial Review Committee. I have been acclaimed to my seat on Council for a second term, which will end in April 2012.
Council 2011/2012 Session
This session has begun, council and committee updates as available.
I have challenged a decision made at the Final Meeting of the 2010/2011 Council Session on the grounds that Public Notice was not given. The decision changed the amending formula for the Constitution, ByLaws and Policies of the Association.
The Council has been plagued with legal and political dispute, for roughly six months. The Council first returned to work on January 10th, 2012. While originally the agreement was signed with a confidentiality clause, confidentiality was waived by the defendants and plaintiffs.
