Creation and Display of Continuous Meshes
A continuous mesh is a structure that enables a mesh to be displayed at any resolution between a high and low value. We have done research in continuous mesh creation and display. In Mesh Software is a description of some software, part of which is a program pmdisp that can display continuous meshes. The continous mesh files are in our own format, which is efficient for dispaly. We also have software that is capable of creating these continous meshes in parallel. This was the result of a Master's thesis at Carleton by Christian Langis. Finally, we have a 4th year Carleton project by Chris McDonald which describes a view dependent continuous mesh display system.
