New Developments for Computational Geometry: Theory and Applications

Rising Impact Factor, new awards, and increased access – it’s time to celebrate new innovations for CGTA!

Computational Geometry: Theory and Applications' Impact Factor has risen for the fourth straight year and is now 0.893*, again making it the most highly cited journal in the field of computational geometry.

In recognition of the community’s continued support and contribution to CGTA, Elsevier is delighted to announce the following new developments for the journal: complimentary access, two new awards, and a low-cost student package.

Elsevier is happy to announce complimentary access for CGTA articles. Commencing immediately, articles will be freely available on ScienceDirect. Click here to get access immediately. Complimentary access will conclude at the end of 2009.

Elsevier and the Editors-in-Chief of Computational Geometry: Theory and Applications, are pleased to introduce two new awards: the Test of Time Award and the Young Researcher Award.

The Test of Time Award honors the most influential paper published 10 years ago.

The Young Researcher Award honors the best paper published in CGTA by a researcher (or a group of researchers) who is 35 years of age or younger at the time of submission.

Finally, students will be able to enjoy continued access to CGTA, along with eleven additional Elsevier journals, for a discounted price of 49.95 USD (€34.95 / ¥549).  The journals in this package include:

  • Information and Computation, headed by A. R. Meyer, MIT
  • Journal of Computer and Systems Sciences, headed by E.K. Blum, Univ. of Southern California
  • Journal of Complexity, headed by J.F. Traub, Univ. of Colombia, NY
