The Algorithms and Data Structures Symposium, WADS, which alternates with the Scandinavian Symposium and Workshops on Algorithm Theory, SWAT, is intended as a forum for researchers in the area of design and analysis of algorithms and data structures. We invite submissions of papers presenting original research on the theory and application of algorithms and data structures in all areas, including combinatorics, computational geometry, databases, graphics, and parallel and distributed computing. All proceedings are published in the Springer Verlag series Lecture Notes in Computer Science. Two special issues of papers selected from WADS are planned for the Algorithmica and Computational Geometry: Theory and Applications journals.

Announcements

  • Electronic access to proceedings is now available.
  • There will be two pick-up points for the excursion on Tuesday, August 1st: one outside of the conference building (on the road side, south-east entrance), another in the parking lot of Sheraton hotel Newfoundland downtown. A yellow CityWide bus should be at each of these locations at 3:30pm.
  • Registration is now open.
  • The registration fees are $360 regular/$240 student before (or on) June 30th, and $410/$270 after.
    Financial support is available for Ontario-based students, postdocs and early career researchers (click on the "Form selection page" on the second page of the registration form)
