About the VenueGI 2010 will be held in Ottawa, Canada'a capital. The conference will take place in conjunction with the Computer and Robot Vision 2010 (CRV), and the Artificial Intelligence 2010 conferences. Registration will permit attendees to attend any talk in the three conferences (GI, AI, CRV), which will be scheduled in parallel tracks. The conference will also include a banquet and a posters/demos session. The GI 2010 talks will be in the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) building, room A0150. SITE is at the southern end of the University of Ottawa campus. You may be interested in this printable campus map. The banquet will be at the Museum of Civilization on Tuesday, June 2. Drinks will start at 6:00 and the banquet proper will begin at 7:00. You can get to the museum on foot (approx. 4 km) or by transit, or by driving if you are so inclined. The conference will also provide shuttle buses, leaving from in front of SITE (King Edward entrance) starting at 5:30. |
