Biography
After working in the high tech industry for nearly 10 years as a software developer and team leader, Dr. Laurendeau completed her PhD in 2009 and embarked on her second career as a teaching professor with the School of Computer Science.

Dr. Laurendeau served as Associate Director (Undergraduate) from 2011 to 2014; the School's Co-op Faculty Advisor from 2014 to 2018; Associate Director (Recruitment) from 2018 to 2023; and Deputy Director from 2023 until June 2024.

Dr. Laurendeau specializes in teaching computer programming and software engineering, as well as wireless networking and security.
