Hi!
I’m an associate professor in the School of Computer Science at Carleton University and the co-director of the Carleton Internet Security Lab. My research focuses on understanding the environmental impact of cybersecurity decisions — including how security requirements drive hardware obsolescence and contribute to e-waste — and building tools that enable sustainable long-term security. I’m also interested in IoT security, data privacy, and usable authentication. I was previously an assistant professor at Polytechnique Montréal, visiting scientist at IBM Research in Zürich, and a postdoc at ETH Zürich.
