Project Highlights
    - High Speed Data over Wireless Systems

With the results from this research we are able to improve the performance of current existing product/service and help to define/develop new products/services for Nortel Networks and its customers. Our study will be applicable to various products/services of Nortel’s evolving wireless system in the next two to five years. Our research can be applied to the evolution of the current existing Nortel network’s products (e.g., 1xRTT, 1xEV-DO and UTMS FDD) which are expected to provide better performance figures than current systems. In terms of help to define/develop new products/services for Nortel Networks and its customers, our study will be aligned with Nortel networks products development of the 1xEV-DV products (both BTS and BSC) and UMTS TDD products (both NodeB and RNC). Our study can also be applied to TD-SCDMA systems if Nortel Networks determines to develop the products of this 3G standard.
