Project Highlights
    - Performance

Currently, we are focusing on the following two topics: (1) Investigation of the capacity and delay in a wireless mesh network; and (2) stationary tail asymptotics. For the first topic, our plan is to analyze the end-to-end delay and the capacity performance of wireless mesh networks. We investigate the impact of the scalability of a wireless mesh network on the capacity performance. For the second topic, we realized that many performance metrics in telecommunication networks are characterized through rare event probabilities, for example the loss probability. Based on newly developed results of the matrix analytic method, our goal is to propose easy to apply methods for characterizing stationary tail asymptotics in various SONs.
