Following are some of the major results obtained in the area of Data Retrieval and Storage. Have proposed, designed and supervised the implementation of an intelligent adaptive image retrieval system (Comp. Journal 1993). Solutions for the Object Partitioning problem have been proposed. These solutions have also been proven to run an order of magnitude faster than the previously best known solutions. Solutions for this problem for the case when the reorganization per query is linear and logarithmic have been proposed (Comp. Journal 1992, Proc. IEEE SMC 1990). Have proposed solutions for the Equal Partitioning Problem. The proposed Object Migrating Automaton has been shown to be an order of magnitude faster than the previously known solution (IEEE T:Comp. 1988, Proc. IEEE-COMPSAC 1986).
